The Northern Michigan Narwhals
NOMI are members of USA Michigan Swimming League, which is comprised of age-group swimming clubs from around the state.
A USA Swim membership is required to participate in these meets. Most USA meets are downstate at large aquatic venues. Local, State and National Meets are available per qualifying times.
The NOMI USA team is a regional based team. Swimmers from other club teams can participate in USA meets as a member of the NOMI team.
Cruisers Swim Team
Practice consists of stroke development in all four competitive strokes, endurance and team camaraderie. Ability level will be assessed at practice and assigments made accordingly.
The Cruisers/NOMI have a swim meet schedule.
Some of our meets will be at home, others will be at different pools across the state. While meet attendance is not a requirement to be a part of the Cruisers, it is a fun way for swimmers to see the rewards of all their time and dedication.
Swimmers drive their personal objectives for participating on team. These can be as simple as learn about swimming and get in shape to qualifying for a championship meet.
